I’ve been working hard the past few days building the new compost bins. Luckily I’ve had some help from youth volunteers. Claire’s husband, Fred, was able to borrow a truck and help me pick up the lumber and other supplies from Lowes and I precut everything at their house before taking it to the garden. The kids really enjoyed helping out with the project. It is always nice to have physical evidence of the work you’ve done, that’s one of the reasons I enjoy working in the garden so much! The compost bins are nearly finished now and it will be great to see them installed and being put to good use.
